Seeking the truth implies it can be found. We humans experience life in a largely subjective manner. Ultimate truth is elusive. Dowsers look for hidden sources, but dowsing is certainly an inexact endeavor, and perhaps when a dowser does find something, it is mere happenstance...but a-dowsing we shall go, eh?
This is a photo I took last year at a parade in Portland. ...a fine demonstration methinks that a lot of what is considered "patriotism" is more accurately mere jingoism. This in-part inspiring my post to my city's paper today about one of our senators and this heinous flag desecration amendment which is YET AGAIN taking up the time of the do-nothing Congress, and is darn near in danger of passing.
