Kevin Phillips, was a senior strategist for Richard Nixon's 1968 presidential bid, and rose to prominence on the heels of Nixon's political triumphs. In 1969, Phillips book "The Emerging Republican Majority" was hailed as a visionary work of political analysis. He also wrote the 2004 bestseller, "American Dynasty", which I believe is a must-read. His latest, just published book is "American Theocracy", and looks like it could be an even more important book than those previous two.
